Austin Independent School District's top attorney is directly addressing allegations the school district sanctioned and planned student protests of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement at more than a dozen of the district's schools. Kenneth Walker, who leads the district's legal team, called suggestions from the attorney general that the district somehow assisted students with walkouts "misplaced" and accused the state agency of singling the district out amid similar mass walkouts across the state.
