Admittedly, I have not read everything there is to read on this subject, but I feel disappointed that the school districts affected did not receive the help they needed before a school had a failing grade for five consecutive years. Does anyone know what actions TEA took before this step? Did they offer help that was accepted but didn't help or offered help that was not heeded or maybe not offering help at all?
We all know there are a million factors in having a "successful" school (and subsequentially school district).
What does everyone else know about this?
