What an amazing story! My personal challenge might have been the Carter recession, which led to my dad losing his job and getting a new one (contract food service) that required him to move each year to set up new accounts. I attended 5 schools in three states from grades 9-12, so this created a unusual situation, But, I did get to see different parts of the country (Missouri, Texas, Arizona) and met my future husband my sophomore year of high school :-) Although it all ended well, I would not recommend this high school adventure to others!
