Hello there,
ATPE's annual awards season is here, and it's time to shine a spotlight on the educators and volunteers who make a real difference in our schools and communities.
Every year, ATPE honors exceptional Texas educators and leaders during the ATPE Summit. Whether it's a teacher who inspires excellence, a local unit that goes above and beyond, or a campus representative who embodies the spirit of service, this is your chance to recognize their impact.
The 2025–26 awards include:
- Charles Pickitt Educator of the Year Awards (five categories, $5,000 each)
- Floyd Trimble Local Unit of the Year Awards (five categories, $1,000 each)
- Doug Rogers Campus Representative of the Year Awards (four categories, $1,000 each)
Nominations are open through Dec. 1, so don't wait to celebrate the great work happening across Texas. Learn more and submit your nominations at atpe.org/awards.
Quick question: What qualities do you think make an educator or ATPE leader truly stand out, and how do you see those qualities making a difference in your own school community?
