    Becoming a state officer had been a dream for me from the first time I attended an ATPE Convention back in the day.  Seeing the inner workings of ATPE and having the opportunity to travel the state and meet other educators with the same passion I have has been so encouraging.  It can be a little tough to make the leap to put your name out there but I can guarantee you, you won't regret it.  Having been a state officer for APTE has been a journey I don't regret taking.
